A man went to an eye specialist to get spectacles for his failing sight. "Doctor," he asks, "will I be able to read after getting glasses?"

"Yes, of course," said the doctor, "why not!"

"Oh! How nice!" exclaimed the patient, "I've been illiterate for so long."
