A Blonde and a brunette want to participate in a race in Louisiana, but they need a bull. The brunette gathers their life savings, $600, and goes to Texas. She finds a bull, and says I want to buy this bull. The farmer says This bull is $599.
She said okay, and gave him the money. She took the bull and went into town. She asked if she could send a telegram to her friend. She said tell her I got the bull, so bring the trailer and get the bull in Texas.
The guy says, you can send a telegram anywhere in the U.S. for 75 cents a word. The brunette thinks a while and says can I send a one word telegram. He said yeah, I guess. She said send the word comfortable.
He said I'm sorry ma'am but your friend won't get the message from that word.
She said well, my friend is a blonde, and she reads slow.......so she will read it as: com-for-ta-bull.
